Our store:

We are an online-only store based in the Waikato of New Zealand.
Items are purchased on our website and delivered via courier.

Shipping & delivery:

We ship worldwide with flat rates to keep it simple.  Packages are sent via Pass The Parcel or Poste Haste courier within NZ, and standard airmail for International parcels.  International customers are responsible for any additional fees such as customs and import taxes that may apply.  Unfortunately international airmail increased by $5 this week (18/9/9/2020) so we have had to raise our rates as well – sorry!

We no longer offer free shipping over a certain amount as that cost was falling on us, and our prices are already too low to make that a viable option for us at this time.

Returns & Exchanges:

We understand that online shopping can be difficult at the best of times, so to help you shop with confidence we now accept returns for store credit, and exchanges.

Items for return/exchange must be in their original condition for resale; unworn with tags attached, and a copy of your order receipt included.

Most sale items are final, so please choose carefully as we won’t accept returns/exchanges on sale items that have since sold out.

Your purchases must be returned within 15 working days from date of purchase (3 weeks).

Return shipping is to be covered at your own expense which includes tracking, as we are not responsible for any packages that get lost in transit.

Upon receiving your returned items, for returns – we will load the cost of the items (minus the original shipping fee) back into your account as store credit, to be used for future purchases. Exchanges will be processed immediately and the new item(s) sent out.  Exchanges will incur an extra $6 charge for sending out the new item(s).

Faulty items:

The Vintage Plume aims to provide you with quality items and services.  However if you believe an item you have purchased is faulty, please get in contact with us at [email protected] and we will happily refund or exchange your item if we agree it is faulty.

All prices shown are in New Zealand dollars include GST (15% sales tax).  All prices are correct at time of publication.


Every effort has been made to portray the correct colours of our items as accurately as possible.  However, we cannot guarantee that your monitors display of colour will be completely accurate as every monitor is different.

Care of garments:

Items are made of quality fabrics that last well with the correct care methods.

We recommend washing items with a delicate cold machine cycle or hand wash with similar colours and mild detergents.  Then dried in the shade and gently shaped into place to keep their shape.  They can be ironed with a warm iron turned inside out.  Please follow the care tags on each garment.
